HELP FOR DIABETICS

There is something that can be done to assist us diabetics--Type 1 and Type 2. I am not suggesting that a cure for this nasty disease is awaiting someone's beck and call. But our local grocery stores could make life much simpler for us when we go shopping.
Today, we must search up and down the aisles, searching for, say, food and beverages that have no sugar added.
Wouldn't it be a help if, under a large sign saying, "DIABETIC FOODS" we would be able to find these products without having to search up and down the aisles, peering at the contents labels?
Wouldn't it also be helpful if, say, packaged cookies and other baked goods were arranged according to their carbohydrate, fibre or sugar contents?
The grocer could offer specials from time to time perhaps with a dietician on hand to answer our questions. Pamphlets and coupons could be offered, too, along with listings of useful websites.
I don't understand why this isn't already available. The next time you go shopping, tell the store manager that this is what you'd like to see in his or her store.
